Hello. I have a big trouble.
I'm a big fan of BB devices. Sometime ago (about 1 month) i bought a brand new BlackBerry Z10, sealed. From the trusted eBay seller, with "eBay Giving works" wich is administrated by PayPal Givinf Gund.
The only problem - that is I'm living in country which is NOT supported by BlackBerry at all. Belarus (Republic Of Belarus). With my work, sometimes i go out (to Russia, Poland, Germany) and i can activate my Z10.
In my country all "usual" services from the phone is working great, like calls, internet with a local carrier, currently I'm using Velcom. But suddendly yesterday morning my phone became "Device PIN Blocked.".
This is awful, i don't even understand WHY? What is the mechanism BlackBerry use, to track or do something else, that BLOCKs normal users ?
OKAY, I understand that my country is not in the list. But i can use m phone great, without any troubles. It's working.
I use my phone not only in Belarus, i'm a Senior Engineer in a big IT Company, and sometimes i'm going abroad, and i wanna use my phone without such stories.
I bought my phone from a 100% legal seller, which is supported by PayPal giving fund. I'm the only one, who opens a sealed box with the phone. I'm the only one, who used this phone at all. For a last 2 weeks I've been using my Z10 with a 2 SIM cards in a business trip.
And what's now ? THe phone is PIN blocked.
Is it ok ? Billions of devices all over the world working fine and even in such countries like my native - Belarus! But the only mystic problem related to BlackBerry. There are a hundreds topics in internet with a similar problem.
I love you, BlackBerry, and I know yout position on this market. In situations where the actual users are denied and spit in the face by the company, the company goes back below the market. It is unacceptable, ugly and disrespectful!
I don't even know, how to restore my phone. I need my phone back. Extremely.
I have ALL information about the seller, lot, links, bills! I have an original box, i have ALL. And "Device PIN Blocked".
This issue IS NOT related to my service provider. They even dont know about such kind of blocks. ANd this is a BlackBerry problem.
I can provide more information about my phone. Please. I dont want to forget about the BlackBerry.

I'm blocked even with no sim after factory reset, after phone activation...
There are a lot of topics in internet from the costumers (BlackBerry Z10 owners) who have same troubles, with any SIM after that block.
Some users reported, that they send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org with prove, that the phone is not stolen - and they turn off Device PIN Block. With no comment why the phone was blocked earlier.
But now, this e-mail can't help and there is an auto-reply, that "you have contacted with BlackBerry Dev Alpha team." And they can't do anything.
For today - i have a blocked phone, i can't use it and i don't know how to restore phone's functionality :-( Everything that i have - this is a hope for this thread... that somebody have contat or email, where somebody can check up this setiuation and help.
I've already emailed about 7 letter to some BB mails, that i've founded in internet. But no responses. Also in twitter I've got reply, that i have to contact with my service provider But my service provider is not related to.
P.S. I can contact with my seller, and try to return... But it will cost for me ~100$ to send my phone back in US. I will spend too much with such BB mistakes. I'm almost crying.
I have no words with this situation :-) It's crazy. To support company, that's easily can block simple user and then you have to spend a days, weeks to restore by yourself the justice.
I'm really sorry for this emotions... But i'm crying. I'm lost all of my data, becouse there are solutions to make a factory reset in a tries to resolve this issue, but no way. And now i'm without phone at all. I have to spend more $$, to buy one more phone. Thanks for your replies... I'm sorry

Your best chance to get this fixed is to pay the per incident support fee ($49USD) and speak to BlackBerry directly to have this corrected. Others have gotten this done. You might try @BlackBerryHelp with twitter, also.

I've performed Factory Reset again but created new BlackBerry ID and activated my phone with this ID, it seems to be working now.
I don't know why and how. But it is working. I hope, that this will not happened to me again.

Yes, please let us know what happens. But a question: after you bought the phone did you do any sort of OS update? Some OS updates have a data base of blacklisted PINs built in. Thanks

I've got 7MB update after phone activation. Then i used in with no problem, and after this i've tried to upgrade my OS via Sachesi (desktop application) and upgraded up to 10.2.
I have read that Sachesi install official updates. But now I understand, that may be problem in this case with force update?
But i've seen that a lot of people from n4bb or crackberry have successfully updates their devices with the same method.
Also like i've seen a lot of posts that people always on a leaked OS (a years) and everything running smooth and fine...
Now i will stay on a fully stock... Scary My current Software version is 10.1.0.4181. And there are no any official updates yet.
Once again, I very appreciate this community for feedback...
