USB Outlook Sync is here!

The latest version of Blackberry Link which was released on 6/5/2013 is version 1.1.1.26. This is supposed to support local sync with Outlook.

Thank you!!

Yes, and since this is covered in other threads already, here are the download links.

Link updated with Outlook Sync:

Downloading BlackBerry Link v1.1.1.26 (Windows OS)

Re: USB Outlook Sync is here!

Re: USB Outlook Sync is here!

Is this a proper two-way sync by USB? I had heard that a one-way sync was available, but I need to be able to sync Calendar, Tasks, Contacts etc in both directions.

Thanks!

Re: USB Outlook Sync is here!

It is a two-way sync for contacts and calendar only, not tasks.

Re: USB Outlook Sync is here!

When I am away from my office, I use my phone as my 'mobile office'. This means that I have to be able to sync everything I have entered on the phone with my desktop when I return, and vice versa.

Why is there no sync for tasks? Without this, the Z10 is no use to me. Is the sync of tasks scheduled to be added?

It seems astonishing that after using Blackberries for many years, and syncing them successfully and simple via the Blackberry Desktop software, the state-of-the-art Z10 can't do the same...

Re: USB Outlook Sync is here!

Do you know whether the new BB Link syncs ALL Canendar items going backwards, that is, more than 6 months?  BB Desktop Manager on the old BBs used to sync all items going backwards, but the Z10 using ActiveSync limits the time period going backwards.

Thanks.

Re: USB Outlook Sync is here!

Update your Blackberry Link software from 1.1.1.26 to BlackBerry Link v1.1.1.32 (available as an official download from Blackberry website).

It gives you the option to sync everything backwards in your calendar with Outlook. You must have OS 10.1 on your Balckberry device.

Good luck!
