Unable to receive MMS

Hi, I am new. I cannot receive MMS. In advanced settings for MMS I don't have the two fields that should be below Username and password in APN settings that I seem to need to fix this. Is this a software problems? Any solutions? My carrier has been unable to help.

Did you verify with your wireless provider that the MMS service is enabled for your device? Also, your provider will have to supply you with the username and password for your APN settings.
