Unable to reply or forward emails following Z10 update

Hi,

I am unable to reply or forward emails via my auth.smtp accounts on 1&1 following the update to 10.0.10.90. Ive tried resetting the email accounts and playing with the port settings to no avail. This is a major problem for me and makes the phone almost useless for my business use.  Any ideas would be appreciated.

We are investigating this issue and we will need to gather logs from the BlackBerry Z10.  Please contact your network service provider and ask to be transferred to BlackBerry so we can review these logs.

Tried contacting Blackberry via Orange without success - was disconnected 20 mins into the call whilst trying to explain the problem to the blackberry tech.  I can tell you the error message when trying to send emails is Protocol layer was unable to send a message.

I am on 10.0.10.85 and also with 1and1 webhosting. Same issues. very frustrating. I never thought after 10 years of using a blackberry I would have to worry if my work emails got sent or not..

We are aware of this issue, this KB article was created about the issue: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB33736

 

Currently there is no resolution or workaround.

Totally ridiculous situation. An upgrade to improve my phone has in fact made it useless! As along time user of Blackberry devices I am now very unhappy with Blackberry - this had better get fixed quickly before the phone hits the US market or it will die!

This has to be fixed, completely unacceptable, everything worked BEFORE the update came out on Thursday Mar 7th. Blackberry really needs to step up and resolve this quickly, 3 weeks with no reslution is not ok.. there is many, many other people having the same issue  - see here - http://forums.crackberry.com/blackberry-z10-f254/updated-telus-z10-now-pop-email-does-not-work-77702...
