Warranty Check

How to check whether the mobile sold to me is BB india warranty set or it is some imported set, without any valid india warranty. dealer is providing me the bill.....

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Warranty is a contractual matter between buyer and seller at the time of purchase. Some sellers service warranty directly, others through third parties (e.g., Service Centers). Some sellers extend exactly what BB supports, others modify it. But, only the parties to that purchase contract can know what that warranty states...and no one here, in this user-to-user community, is a party to your purchase contract, so no one here can answer your question.

 

If your documentation does not state what your warranty is, then you need to ask the seller who sold it to you. For it is completely a contractual question between the two of you.

But please remember that information is merely what BlackBerry will support, as serviced by others, and as potentially modified a the time of purchase. The seller and the buyer can agree to anything...it does not have to match what that documentation states. And that contractual purchase document will govern what your warranty is, regardless of what any other documentation may state.

Blackberry dose not have any warranty support in USA I have a blackberry passport silver addition I paid $750.00 for it and it useless now I tried to resist the device and stock on security wipe for 3 days now and because I don't have a carrier and my phone is factory unlocked I can't get support from any one so anyone have a problem with a blackberry just cross your fingers and good luck.

I still can't understand how come a big factory like blackberry doesn't have a warranty support I have my blackberry passport silver addition for almost a 4 month I tried to security wipe the device and the device stock for 3 days now on 99% erasing the memory bast buy doesn't cover the device because is only 60 days return policy and blackberry don't support them devices so the past to stay away from backberry and just take the lost
