My OS, 10.0.10.261, appears to be an orphan. It does not qualify for updates when I use the Software Updates function on Settings on my Z10 but it cannot run such useful apps as Skype.
Why can't I update to 10.1, officially --I don't want to experiment with an unofficial update.

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Thanks for the question.
BlackBerry device softwares are determined by your network service provider. Once T-Mobile releases the update then you can proceed with the update wirelessly or through BlackBerry Link.

Thanks for the reply. I want to add a detail: T-Mobile is struggling to get its sh-t together, and that may explain its slowness. But, I also have a Rogers sim card in Canada, one of the biggest cell providers in that country, and it also offers me no update.
Is there any list online of which carriers offer the 10.1?
I bought one of the first Z10's in Miami, before the official US distribution. I was told it was brought in from South America. Are there any US or Canadian Z10's that were distributed with the 10.0.10.261 OS?
