i had the same issue. our help desk team asked me to do the follwoing:
1. On your BlackBerry 10 Device navigate to Settings -> Accounts 2. Select "Add Account" 3. Select "Email, Calendar and Contacts" 4. Enter your Primary work/compnay email address Email Address: email@example.com 5. If prompted, enter the server address Server Address: your server address (they gave me something that read as S00000000 (where 0s are no zero digits) 6. Enter your activation Password Password: your password (that you enter whilst checking emails at work or via on line web access) 7. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete activation process
You will be prompted to set a device-wide password that is required by corporate security policy.
Your activation password will expire in 48 hours.
The effect of all this was that z10 created two work spaces, work and personal.
i do not yet fully know what excatly transpired but this is what you would need to do.
That sounds great. You must be on a BES and Microsoft Exchange Server through work. That is what I expected to do when I bought my new Z10 but then I found out I need all this other stuff sitting on my server which cost big bucks. So you have BlackBerry Balance working.
