Z 10 not working

whilst texting my screen faded and went black and now my phone will not switch on or do anything any ideas anyone

tried holding up and down volume button for 20 secs and nothing so is there another way to reset phone?

Did you try removing the battery?

Is the battery fully charged?

Plug it into the charger anyway. If that still doesn't do it I'd contact your carrier.
