have you tried reloading the OS and a clean start to your device without restoring a backup to your device.

Can you tell me which step solved your issue. Using the browser or the clean relaod of OS.

I want to report a very similar issue.

 

Since yesterday I can't open BB World on my Z10. When I start BB World app, it shows black app box with a wait circle and stays so forever. I can download apps using RC-codes but my Z10 can't show me neither BB World start page not installed apps list.

 

Very annoying bug!

Hi redscorp,

 

Step 1

You will find the solution to this bug in most of the other threads. I have recapped it below:

This is most likely due to a app update issue. The BB Music workaround should fix thhe problem. Go to BB Music. Tap the three dots and selet blackberry world. Go to My World and them My Apps and Check for updates. Post this, the app world should function normally. End here if your BB world is working properly. You need to go to Step 2.

 

Step2

In case you dont get the option for BB World in your music app, it must be mostly due to the fact that your region doesn't have music in the blackberry world. You can try getting into the app world through the games app. In the games app, select the games tab on the bottom and then select the 3 dots. You should get an option to get into the BB World. From there go on to your my world and check for updates and download your updates. 

The next time you should be able to open up App World normally.

The first step you mentioned was enough to restore a functionality of BB World app. Thanks a lot!
