I'm having the same issue. Most of the time when I plug in my Z10 to charge it gives me a red exclamation point. Sometimes it might tell me that if I want the best charge I should use the charger that came with the device... well, duh, that's what I'm using.
So, I figure it's having a problem with either the charging port in the phone or the weak connection to the port by the charging cord. Maybe even a software issue? I don't know, I've had a few small glitches here and there since the last two updates (by the way, I've had this phone for less than a month). I'm just hoping it gets fixed... battery life was already an issue to begin with so keeping that battery alive ought to be the next biggest priority.

Update: I've tried removing the battery, etc. but still no change.

Try a reboot in this manner,  With the BlackBerry device connected to that wall outlet charger, and POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

Hi,

 

I am facing a similar issue. My phone would not charge even after plugging in for a long time. The lightening sign does appear but the charge percentage does not increase. What could be wrong??

I tried 2 OEM chargers already. Also tried many power points.
