Re: Z10 Just Got Toasty Hot!!!

Besides charging do you have alot of apps open & running? That could be another cause for phone to getting hot!

Your z10 just heats up it self? without you running any type of apps just sitting there correct?

Re: Z10 Just Got Toasty Hot!!!

Is your signal weak? When my signal is weak, my phone seems to go into overdrive to find a good signal and will get awfully toasty. When you were in the underground garage, that might have been what happened there and you might want to check your signal strength at work. That might be your problem. Good luck!

i get practically no signal at my residence and in the underground garage.  but at my work where it first happened, i get full signal strength (i.e. 5 bars).

Re: Z10 Just Got Toasty Hot!!!

Yes, using the phone continuously does heat the phone up. And that has nothing to do with over charging or using another source. Even after 10.1.0.2352 update on my STL 100-2. At first i thought that im using a hard cover which is not letting the heat release and hence makin it hot but even without the cover it is heating up.

I hope they are going to fix this heating problem in the updates to come. Its not exactly pleasant.
