Z10 Powerbutton Replacement

unfortunately my z10 is no longer under warranty and my power button isn't working. I have the Rogers LTE version of the Z10. How easy is it to replace? i found the part online but I don't know if there will be soldering required or if it just snaps into place. has anybody done it before?

thank you!

Re: Z10 Powerbutton Replacement

Did you get your Z10 the day it released? That's the only way it would be out of warranty. It's barely been out one year.

That said, I haven't done it on that device but most likely it solders to the main board. The decorative button on the outside is easily replaced but the electrical switch part of it probably solders to the board.
