Z10 Security wipe problem

Good day,

 

Last night at 22:30 I started a security wipe on my BlackBerry Z10 expecting it to be complete by the time I woke up. But it is now 13:30 and it still shows the shredder icon. Could it really be right that it has taken 27 hours (and still ongoing) to wipe the device? I don't believe so. What can I do to fix this problem?

No, that's a tad long.

 

Try removing the battery for five minites, reinsert and see what happens. If the wipe continues, let it sit for a bit longer  and then let us know.

After trying that 3 times my screen showed the connect to pc picture. I'm now attempting the KB33480 fix ( http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/viewdocument.do?externalId=KB33480&sliceId=2&cmd=displayKC&d... ). I shall let you know if this works Smiley Happy

Hi, I've read the posts about the security wipes. I've performed a security wipe on my z10 too just now...... Its taking forever and was hoping it wouldnt but it is Smiley Sad now i dont know what to do ;/

mine did the samething only its never come back and i got www.bberror.com/bb10-0015 error mssg on the start up screen and doesn't go past that what should I do?
