Does anyone know any shortcuts to selecting multiple items (for example multiple photos to delete) at once without tapping on each one individually?
To select multiple items, you can press on the item until the right hand menu bar pops up, then just click the multiple selection checkbox on the bottom. This will then allow you to select several items and apply the same action to them all.
This works while in email, text, etc. (any Hub item I think), File Manager, BBM and so on.
I hope this helps.

Thank You All for this thread! I just got my Z10 yesterday... upgraded from a 9850 Torch. I'm still in mourning for the BB button so some of the tips have helped greatly!
There is one thing that I would like to mention that I haven't seen here yet.
I have a large distaste for mobile versions of websites. Since I've had a 9530 Storm I've always preferred running the desktop versions over mobile version when browsing. The Storm had an option that mostly worked to identify the device as a desktop to avoiding even having to load a mobile version. The Torch sadly lacked this option, or I never found it.
The Z10 does! When the browser is open hit the overflow buttion to bring up the menu on the right side of the screen and scroll up to Settings. Go to Developer Tools and turn Desktop Mode on. It hasn't failed me yet and I've been testing it on some of the sites that were just deplorable for forcing the mobile versions to load.

It was there before... just a shift + enter would create the new line.
