I think that one has been mentioned in this thread a couple times. Thanks.

Re: Z10 Tips, Tricks and Shortcuts

Could we have a "clean" and updated Z10 Tips, Tricks & Shorcuts based on the experience since you wrote the last list in Feb last year, and the new 10.2.1.537 please?

Thanks!

Yep, I will work on that one day, not very soon however.

Most all of the existing tips remain working. Add any additional to this thread to be added.

Good idea.

... or hold the space bar down to get the keyboard.  I find that much easier and less disruptive than swiping with two fingers.

Re: Z10 Tips, Tricks and Shortcuts

I had the Porsche design clock too. According to other posts it's gone with the new update. You can download it separately but I haven't tried so I can't help you with that.

We, Blackberry lovers, all admired the Porsche design - specialy the clock. Now, here is what you can do on your BB Z10 to have that

1. First, open "clock" and then go to "World clock" mode

2. Select  "Add" and in the search window type in fostah then tap "Cancel"

3. You`ll be back at the "World clock" main page. Now swipe down from the top and .... surprise! You will see a tab called "Backdoor". Enter!

4. Now you are looking at the "Backdoor controls" page and on the bottom you should see "Emulate Porsche Design HW". Turn it on.

5. Now close the "Clock" app then re-open it and go to "Clock settings". Do you see it yet? lol.... select "analog" or "digital" and there you go!

Hope you enjoy the "Porsche design clock" !

As additional info:

If you upgrade to OS version 10.2.1.1925 Software Release 10.2.1.537 the magic word "fostah" will not work. Therefore the Porsche Design clock is not accesable. I`ll keep my eyes open and in case I find the correct password that opens that feature, I will be updating thhis post   Smiley Wink

Re: Z10 Tips, Tricks and Shortcuts

All great tips & shortcuts.

Over time everyone will learn these and more.

For OS 10.2.1 you can set up your Quick Settings, by going into settings - Quick Settings and adding the ones you want to show. You can also rearrange the order of them.

Also with OS 10.2.1 you can check your battery percentage. As you swipe up from a Page your battery icon in the top left corner will change to how much battery time you have left.

All OS updates may reveal more shortcuts. Nice to see them being put out for users and first time users.
