Z10 Touch Screen

Is there a way to recalibrate the Blackberry Z10 touch screen? It does not seem to be as acurate as it once was.

Re: Z10 Touch Screen

It seems as though the touch screen is just slightly off when typing. I do most of my typing in landscape mode and it seems as though the touch screen is one letter to the left. I am a very fast typer on the phone so I chalk some of it up to going too fast but I have watched the keys while I type an though I am right over the letter or number I want many times I get the letter or number to the left. Also when in the browser mode many times I have to enlarge the page to get the correct link as it doesn't get the one I touch, it gets the one next to it. I have searched through the settings and I see no calibration function like my storm had.

From the main screen, swipe down from the top black bezel to Settings > About... what is the OS Version listed there?

Re: Z10 Touch Screen

Hopefully Verizon will be pushing out 10.2 in the next couple of months. Who knows.

Until then, my first advice would be to upgrade yourself manually to 10.2.0.xxx and see if that fixes your issue.

If you need help with that, let me know.

Re: Z10 Touch Screen

I have read about 10.2. I know it's an early release, and I'd like to upgrade immediately but I'm always concerned about bugs that come up with new OS'. How has the release gone and would you recommend the update. If I would gladly accept the information to upgrade.

Re: Z10 Touch Screen

Very much the opposite. I read the 10.2 release is going fine and brings even more versatility to an already superior platform.
