Re: Z10 email 30 day limit

Give it a day to allow those to sync.

You're welcome and Good luck... and about this "like" thing... no problem. If you can't appreciate the help you're receiving you don't need to like anything. I am a complete volunteer here, the likes mean nothing.

Re: Z10 email 30 day limit

I have to say that "like" does not go anywhere near telling you how much I appreciate your help, and the fact that you volunteer your help speaks volumes about the kind of selfless kindhearted person you are. Thank you so much for helping me where even the so called experts at EE have failed so miserably.

Re: Z10 email 30 day limit

Hotmail server has only come back on form in last couple of hours. Your delay in sync may also be due to that.

Re: Z10 email 30 day limit

Thanks Zaba, I do recall another user saying their hotmail had been delayed.

Thanks guys. I'm keeping an eye on things for the next day or two.
Fingers crossed I might be fully up and running with my Z10 soon. :-)

Re: Z10 email 30 day limit

Pardon me for hopping on here but I can't find where this email setting is in the Z10? I'm on 10.2

You only see the option when setting up the email initially. To see it again or change, you will need to delete the email account and setup again.

It's not there for ALL email account types.

Re: Z10 email 30 day limit

Hold it! Don't need to delete... go to settings > accounts > Hotmail (or whatever) > advanced options (at bottom) > scroll down to 'sync timeframe' > set to 'forever '. Hope that helps!

Re: Z10 email 30 day limit

All I have under sync timeframe is minutes settings or Manuel, no forever. I have mine set to 5 minutes which I assumed was how often it searched for new emails?

Re: Z10 email 30 day limit

That sounds like the sync interval. Timeframe is usually below that.
