I just got my z10 yesterday...

charged it fully as per told by dealer since last night..

this morning...used the phone for 20 minutes n battery dropped to below 50%....

i have not installed any additional apps....basically i didnt use it much but battery is dying..

n yes it heats up even if i use it for texting, calls or FB for even 5 minutes.....

razorsena, that's not abnormal for a new device. Keep using it, keep charging and using as normal.

What OS release are using on the device (swipe down from the homescreen top bezel > Settings > About > on that screen, what is the OS Version?

Re: Z10 heat issue and batt drain fast

Yes the same thing happened to me but not as severe. All connections off, went from 80 to 40 pcent in 2 hours, only to bring it out of standby 3 times for a quick look.

Re: Z10 heat issue and batt drain fast

I cant speak on the heating issue. But yes. Usb not being plugged In all the way will cause battery to drain excessively fast. My phone case was causing this issue for me.
