Z10 unable to reinstall OS10

Please help! I have tried all obvious ways to reinstall the software including the option via BB Link but no response. Th e shortcut thats shown on website of using CHECK FOR UPDATES isn't working either.

My  phone did this when I first received it.  It had something to do with the charge level.  I suggest turning it off and leaving it pluged into wall charger for a couple of hours till it gets to about 30%, then try to connect to Link.  This worked for me not sure why but this is what I was told to do.

However it didn't work and I have to install the cracked version.
