Hello, any help welcome:
by Z10 (latest OS, no Apps installed recently) does welcome me with the prompt to enter the device password, as it has been doing many time before..All good but all of a sudden it does not open the keyboard for entering it.
I can tap into the field, so the frame changes color, I can tap the eye on right hand side and it changes color but the keyboard does not appear.
Rebooting including battery out, pressing volume buttone for 30+ seconds or two finger wipes from the bottom do not fix it, not with SIM card inserted nor with SIM card removed.
What can I do? I am travelling over seas and working with PC Suite is unfortunately not an option.
Does anybody from Blackberry read this? Any advice welcome.

Have you tried swiping up with two fingers while on the lock screen?

Hi, thanks for responding!
Yes, I tried swiping with two fingers in all sorts of direction but this does not fix it. The phone does not respond to any of these actions

thanks for reply, reinstalling the OS sounds like the method to apply.
Help me, can I do without connection to a PC / Desktop suite (being on the road)?

I was trying to get some help for you as the poster in the following thread got:
I don't know if they ultimately had to reload the OS or not, though, and was trying to find out.
To answer your question, no, you need a connection to your computer in order to make a backup and to reload the OS.

he had the very same problem i have, but the link does not hold a resolution to it.
Do you have other ideas how to resolve / whom to ask for help?
How can I get BlackBerrys attention to this? This phone is not a year old and does entirely miss what it is being designed and purchased for. This is way off what I expect from a 600$ device.
