batter drain Q

We went to someone's cottage and while there, turned off WiFi (cuz there wasn't any) and turned off blue tooth. But both our Z10's kept having battery drain.. what else can we do to avoid that? My husband has LGTE or whatever it is, turned off. Mine is on so searching for those when there are none of those networks nearby, don't seem to be the problem.

Suggestions?

Only thing I can imagine is you didn't "shut down" all data networks and it was still searching. Did you have voice? If there was zero network avail and you still needed to use the phone (?), you could have put it in airplane mode.

There is network via carrier (Bell). Voice? Voice notes.. voice/vid bbm that sort if stuff

We can get email etc just all through carrier and no WiFi which is why we turned WiFi off. Not sure what else to do. It's draining every half day, or less

Re: batter drain Q

I'm on Bell network has well I don't see the different from 4G or 3G and if your at the cottage you could be searching for LTE(4g) could of drain your battery!

Re: batter drain Q

No, it can't be drain due to searching for LTE. As mentioned.. while mine is on, my husband turned off that feature.. he's never had it on since he got his z10. Both of ours are draining at same rate. Not sure what is different out here but it sure is sucking the battery!!!

The battery life on these Z10 is appalling.
