battery draining and over heating

My battery lasts about 4/5 hours with moderate use and over heats on the left hand side it is the phone not the battery that heats up as soon as I start using it

Re: battery draining and over heating

How do you know it is the phone and not the battery?

Re: battery draining and over heating

Thanks.

If you feel there is a hardware fault, certainly return your device for a warranty replacement -- the sooner the better.

Re: battery draining and over heating

Software failure after four hours?

I don't know what that is, but should have been an easy fix.

Re: battery draining and over heating

I'd let it be a while, a few days.

It's a know fact that the first two weeks of operation the battery drains quickly, the device is linking and syncing to many databases on the device itself (even the address book is linking from contacts > Facebook > Twitter, etc.

Re: battery draining and over heating

Hi

Are you still having this problem? Mine does the same, heating on the phone part and 4-5 hours with minimal use.

Has yours improved? or did you take this unit back? Please help, as I have 1 day letf on my out-of-box failure warranty
