bbm issue from 9910 to Z10

Hi there, i hope someone has a solution for this very unusual issue. My husband has a 9910 and i just got the Z10. When he sends me a bbm, i get the notification and when i click to open it closes bbm and goes to my "Homepage".

I have done all the updates and checked with friends - apparently they have the same problem. I really hope that someone can give me a solution please. Thanks

Your husband has the 9810 (there is no 9910)?

 

Where do you get this notification from, when he sends you a BBM message?

What is your homepage, is your messages "Hub"?

Sorry you are right 9810!

When you get a bbm and you go to either the hub or BBM messenger it does the same. When i want to open the chat, it opens for about a second and the jumps to my home screen.

Is there somewhere i can post a clip and you can see what i mean. Even the tech at the vodacom outlet didnt know what the heck is going on.

Did you try deleting it and reinstall it?  If that doesn't work try a security wipe.

ughh... security wipe because of an issue with one contact? Bad, bad advice. Way too extreme as only a second thing to do.
