blackberry protect

i have turned on bb protect feature in my handset, it asked for my BB id and password which i input.

 

but when i go to protect.blackberry.com it says a device is not associated with this id

 

what is the problem

Hi, I did this yesterday on my Q10 and it's still not showing.... should I still wait?

On your Q10, open your Settings > BlackBerryID.

  • If all of the information there is correct, >
  • Tap edit.
  • Scroll down and UNcheck the "I do not want to receive information..." line.
  • This will enable the SUBMIT button at bottom. Tap SUBMIT.
  • You will be asked to enter your BBID Password, do that, and you will get a confirmation message that your BBID has been updated.

 

Hopefull, that will connect it.

Thanks J, done that, now when I go into BB ID online and log on it just gives me two options of "logout" or "account details", not the usual screen. Is that because it's updating perhaps?
