can't back up??

It syncs photos music etc whit pc. But it won't let me press back up or restore its not highlighted ??
Remove device is highlighted? If I go to settings it says on the left connect to usb to back up or restore device? Thx in advance!

Were you able to create a backup in the past?  Also try connecting the BlackBerry Z10 to a different USB port.

 

Are you using a Mac or a PC?

I never was able to back up... I try both port, I just tried 2 other usb cable still not working...I am using PC.. I deleted blackberry link and reinstall it still not working? I tried my iphone whit iTunes and was able to back up no problem??

I am not a computer guy maybe I'm missing something?? Just finished entering all my contacts one by one really don't want to go thru that again lol thx in advance
