No BlackBerry logo at all?

 

I suspect that you don't have the requried data plan on your SIM card.

Call Vodafone and inquire, perhaps they have not setup your account correctly.

I've been having the same issue, but it appears to be for a different reason.

 

I cannot sync the majority of my contacts from my Torch 9800 to my Z10. I appear to have 2 contact lists - default and desktop. I have about 60 contacts on the default list and 120 on the desktop list. I cannot sync the desktop list with Link for some reason. All of the contacts are stored only on my phone, and they are not synced with any online source. Link said that it could only not sync contacts that come from an online source. Is there a way I can transfer the contacts from one list to the other, so I can get them all on the default list to transfer to the Z10?

davesmunroe, does that list contain any groups within the Address Book, does it?

There aren't any groups in my contacts, only single entries

i was missing the blackberry dots in the top courner like you told me. i called my network provider and they talked me through what i needed to do. my phone mobile connections had the wrong information typed in. once i changed this information everything worked, even my contacts.

 

thank you so much for your help, i can now enjoy my new phone
