keep appointments forever

Is there an option for choosing how long appointments are kept on the Z10 calendar?

Re: keep appointments forever

Hi clique,

Currently there is no setting on the BlackBerry Z10 smartphone to modify the amount of time calendar entries are stored. This is a feature that is controlled by the type of email account you are using.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Re: keep appointments forever

Thanks, could you help me with another query then?  Is there a way of using back up files from a previous Blackberry (curve) that are on my pc to add items to my calendar on the z10?  I can't sync my calendar to my outlook on my pc I know.

Thanks

Re: keep appointments forever

Hey clique,

You can restore data from some legacy backup files by connecting your BlackBerry smartphone, clicking Restore Device Data in BlackBerry Link, and then next to the list of backup files, click the folder icon and browse to the computer folder your legacy backup is stored in. Scroll through the list of backup files until you locate the correct one.

Restoring from backup will overwrite your current entries, so you may wish to consider trying to import them, or if you are using BlackBerry Device Software 10.1 and BlackBerry Link 1.1.26 and above, you may be able to synchronize them.
