need help

I have a BlackBerry z10 device, it's really awesome device overall but off lately I have been having some issues with the battery, while the battery shows there is still some power left (the icon didn't even turned red), still my phone goes dead. I am using the latest soft. Version & I haven't downloaded any apps except WhatsApp. Don't know what the problem is????????? HELP

Re: need help

I've seen some other threads on this issue, especially on 100-1 models such as yours.

Try this:  Leave the device connected to your wall outlet charger, and while it is still connected, remove the battery for five minutes and replace it to reboot. See if that clears up the issue. Sometimes, it is only a difference of what the on-device battery meter is mis-reading from the actual battery charge, and this process will reset or clear that software misreading.

Re: need help

"J", thanks a ton for the response but don't you think it's not advisable/ dangerous to remove the battery while the device is still connected to the charger.

Re: need help

No, I don't think it's bad.

While it's the last thing I do, it does no damage to the device, and has certain affects no other reboot or restart has.
