proximity sensor

Hello gus

i just bought a new blackberry Z10 and upgrade to the lateset software os 10.2.1.2941

it is very good and usefull, but the screen still active when i make a phonecall or close to me even if i test the proximity sensor by BBVE and i tried on viber call which is working pefectly

so my result is :

proximity sensor working good, it works through the viber call only, doesn't work in the phone call ( normal phone call )

i think - may be wrong - that it something that can modified from the option/ setting but i can't find it

or you have problems with the new software

please advice

thanks

Re: proximity sensor

You can't modify it from the Settings menu. If BBVE says it's working properly, try rebooting your device to see if that helps. To do this, press and hold your power button for 15-20 seconds until you see BlackBerry on the screen. Don't release it sooner despite what you see on your screen.

Try that and post back with your results.  Smiley Happy

Re: proximity sensor

Fakhrani, try touch the TOP EDGE of your Z10 to your ear first, then lay it flat against your face.

OK. It should. I've not seen one in which it does not.
