sd card

My ad card keeps hanging and i have to keep rebooting my brand new z10.
So much so that I now save all my media on the device. And keep deleting. Please someone give me a solution.

I has a similar problem.  This is what I did, and I've been fine since.

 

I copied all the files from the mSD card into a folder on my desktop.  Then, I formatted the mSD card in my Z10.  (This set up a slightly different folder structure from what BBOS had set up.)  I then selectively copied the files back to the appropriate folders on the mSD card:  photos to photos, documents to documents, etc.

 

I believe that legacy BBOS system files/db's from previous devices were "confusing" BB10.

 

In any case, I haven't had any lag in the 10 days since I did this.  It took quite a while, but was worth it to me.  Hope this helps. ~ecm
