z10 display problem

I got my z10 2 months back it was working fine. But past two weeks my phone gets switched off automatically or the display goes blank. I couldn't see anything on the screen but when somebody calls I cannot see who is calling but I could attend the call (touch works).Sometimes display won't get blank quickly first the screen becomes slowly black in colour with some dark lines on the screen and it gets switched off. What to do now? Is it a phone defect or battery?. Can I replace my phone with a new one.helpSmiley Sad

Welcome to BB forums

If your still under warranty you can bring it back to your carrier if the Z10 is defected!

But we are here to help you, quick questions what is the OS are your currently running? Have you updated your OS yet?

Yes now I'm using 10.1.0.4181

Ya same problem was there. . .i went to blackberry service centre in redington Ltd at coimbatore. they said to update the phone and the problem will be solved. They also said the phone can't be serviced here because it was bought from Kuwait. So I can't service my phone anywhere here in India???

You need to have carrier contact BlackBerry them self!

I don't see how you were having the problem before, do you want to try to reload your previous OS because it seems a lot of people are having issues with the new OS.
