z10 options not stored

in my contacts i changed the following settings:

Contacts sorted by last name

sim contacts are disabled.

When restarting the smartphone these settings are are changed to

contacts sorted by first name and sim contacts are enabled.

the next problem:

when deleting e-mails on the smartphone, the e-mails are also deleted by the provider.

my old blackberry torch 9810 had an optoion to decide that the e-mails can be deleted or not.

is there any solution.

thanks

That is odd...are you sure that, prior to restarting, you shut down the Contacts app properly? Perhaps the settings were not yet saved before the reboot happened.

Also please check for OS updates...perhaps your Z10 is in need of an OS update.

This is by design. The function was previously provided by BIS. BIS is not used in BB10 and the ActiveSync client does not have this capability at the present time.

Good luck!
