STA100-1 Z30 Release

Can you tell us if and when the STA100-1 Z30 will be released? According to the specs, this is the version that will work with AT&T LTE bands.

Re: STA100-1 Z30 Release

Your profile says you are using a Q10, you don't need STA-100-1, that's for the Z30.

And, you need to clarify which OS release you're asking about... 10.2.1.1925?

the response you recieved was obviously made by an individual with limited familiarity with blackberry phone models and operating system updates. I have been searching for the answer to your post for months now with no luck. Only time will tell.

For the Z30, on ATT, you'll need the STA100-5, if you want one currently. I have friends with it on AT&T who get LTE in spots where LTE is available.

I don't know that the STA100-1 will be released anytime soon.

Re: STA100-1 Z30 Release

Still hoping someone has the inside scoop on when the STA100-1 will be released. LTE coverage is important for some of us AT&T users.

Re: STA100-1 Z30 Release

No one knows... it's been released by BlackBerry, it is up the mobile carriers to release it.

Re: STA100-1 Z30 Release

Technically it doesn’t have to be released by a carrier. Unlocked versions could be sold. That's all I an really after anyway.

What doesn't have to be released by carrier, the OS or the hardware?
