Re: Google Chrome Test

I don't see "insert code" and insert image from computer buttons on that link, maybe those are RIM's (broken) extensions? As for tables, they work there, but not in the BB forums.

Re: Google Chrome Test

if you don't like IE you can use Opera or Mozilla Firefox.

Re: Google Chrome Test

I just sent a private message with a code snippet and the formatting is lost, even when viewing it in IE 9 -- it's kind of hopeless, you should just switch to something like gist.github.com but of course we more private sharing options.

Re: Google Chrome Test

in your sent items you still have the MP you sent.
can you open it and extract the HTML code it contains? and put it here as an attachment so we can have a look.

Re: Google Chrome Test

I sent it private because it's confidential. But the HTML contains only simple text inside of the message-body DIV with the following special characters here and there (they are automatically inserted by your editor):

<wbr />
&lt;
&gt;
&amp;
<p></p>

Re: Google Chrome Test

you should not insert HTML entities. They are processed back by the WYSYWIG editor.

Re: Google Chrome Test

Please look what I wrote: they are automatically inserted by your editor. I DID NOT insert any of them.

Re: Google Chrome Test

this is an insertion test using Mozilla Firefox :

this is a test
<aa />
or another one :
<a>

and the content of this is :

<p>sdf</p>
<pre>this is a test
&lt;aa /&gt;
or another one :
&lt;a&gt;</pre>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>sdf</p>

fAs you can see, the whole is prefixed by the <pre> element, which was not the case in your example. And there is no <wbr> element either.

Anyways, I am just a forum contributor just like you are, I am not working for RIM, I am not a moderator, and the strongest of all, I do not have the issue you are suffering from with my browsers.

I am not willing to help you if you are not willing to get help from me. I wish someone with more legitimacy will reply to you and hopefully solve your issue.
