Re: BB Travel automatic trip scanning does not work

Kevin, on your Z10, from the main screen swipe down on the top bezel to Settings > Accounts > at the bottom Set Defaults. Is your correct calendar set as the default calendar on the device?

If so, go to your Travel app > swipe down from the top > Settings > scroll down to Calendar Sync and confirm that you have turned ON the "Add Travel details to Calendar (and all settings on that screen to on).

If so, go to your calendar icon > swipe down from the top > Manage > and make SURE that calendar is also turned on for viewing on the calendar app.

Re: BB Travel automatic trip scanning does not work

Hi - many thanks. There wasn't a 'default calendar' set. I've now changed that to 'Device - Local' and the Trip is now showing up.

Thanks again

Kevin

Re: BB Travel automatic trip scanning does not work

I still can't get this to work - is the only solution to have it white listed??

When on the Q10, go into travel and attempt to enable trip scan.  I get an error message indicating "You don't have any email account setup. Automatic Trip Scanning will not be enabled".  The app is installed on the personal side (as IT has not whitelisted application) and the mail is a corporate account..  I have checked that it is the default on the BB and is also the email set as primary on Travel.blackberry.com.

That could be the case, I don't know.

You have your mobile phone number listed as your "My Mobile Provider" or carrier. Putting your phone number out on the internet on these public forums for the world to see, is not wise. To change that, at the top of this page click on My Settings > Personal Profile > Personal Information, and in the entry block for "Carrier" type the name of your mobile provider.
