Dashplayer on Z10

Anyone else have Dashplayer (music player app) from BB World installed ?,

I am having a problem when the player starts. If the first song is a mp3 then everything works OK with the track info scrolling, if the first song is a m4a then the app does not start correctly, it will play if one taps on the time, track info does not scroll, if one taps on the minimised album art icon the app freezes and the display dims.

Had good communication with the developer at first but now I think he's given up trying to solve the problem.
