Hi there,

Does anybody know what to do when you lost the answer to your BlackBerry ID security questions?

Have you forgotten your password? Can you log into bbid.com from a computer?

Re: Lost answer to BB ID security question

The following steps will completely reset the account. You can do this using bbid.com.

To complete a reset of the BlackBerry ID account, complete the following steps:

From the BlackBerry ID Sign In screen on BBM for iPhone or BBM for Android, select Forgot Password.
Enter the BlackBerry ID Username, Verification Code and select Submit.
After two failed attempts to answer the Password Recovery Question, a Reset BlackBerry ID Account link will be displayed.
Tap the Reset BlackBerry ID Account link.
Review the displayed text and tap Send/Submit to receive an email to complete the BlackBerry ID account reset.
Access the associated mailbox from the iPhone, Android device, or computer browser and locate the email.
Select the Reset BlackBerry ID Account link.
Select Continue to complete the reset of the BlackBerry ID account.

Re: Lost answer to BB ID security question

You should be able to reset your password without the need for the security questions.

Go to BBID.com on your computer. Click on forgot password. Enter your email address and the captcha phrase. It should send a link to your email to click on to change the password.

Re: Lost answer to BB ID security question

To reset your password you have to answer the security question. If the security question is forgotten no other way but to create a new one. You are being asked for the security question because you fail to verify your BlackBerry ID when you created it,usually when it was verified successfully when you try to reset your password a link will be directly sent to your email.
