Power supply

I recently have a problem with my Z10, where when ever I charge my phone, it stops charging when it reaches 96%. How to overcome this problem. Please advice?

Re: Power supply

That's really not a problem... your device is misinterpreting the actual 100% charge on the battery.

A couple things to try to rectify that,... unplug and replug the charger.

Use a good battery app like BatteryGuru to get a more clear and true charge percentage.

Reboot your device with the charger connected during the reboot and sometimes that will help 'reset' the charge base.

Understand, the device OS reads from the battery a number of items such as power on the battery and discharge and computes the percentage of charge on the battery. A couple of percentage points is acceptable and you're probably actually at 100%.
