Skype via Playbook app manager not working?

Hi all


I tried to find a way around Skype not being available to Blackberry 10 users yet and stumbled across a web page advising on how to install Android apps on your Blackberry 10 device. I did this via Google Crome and Playbook app manager and have managed to download the .bar file for Skype and install it on my phone!


I was getting all ahead of myself and then found that when I tried to login to Skype from my Blackberry Z10  it advises 'Skype has stopped working'. I've installed the latest OS / updates, restarted phone, taken out battery and trawled the net for a solution - to no avail.


If on the off chance anyone has a suggestion on how to fix it, I would be a very happy Blackberry user.

The Skype apps doesn't work on the PlayBook.
