App world still does not open by the conventional manner, but at least I now have a way to access it. Thank you for all your efforts

For most users, that one work around allows BlackBerryWorld to open normally.

If you don't see that, there are other issues.

 

If it continues to now work properly, call your MTN tech support and have this issue escalated up to BlackBerry tech support.

After you have applied the fix, open the BB World from the conventional way and show some patience or close and restart the BB World. It may take some time to load at times, but it sure should work from the conventional way.

@JSanders, lmao! I am in Zambia bud, the chances of getting a coherent answer from anybody calling themselves tech support are very close to zero!

I have no idea where you are located, but you're using MTN, and buying services from MTN, and by contract to you for those services, they also provide technical support and can escalate the issue to BlackBerry if you need and IF you ask. I know I've worked with other MTN users in the past, and while it can be difficult to work through MTN at times, you have to try.
