payment issues



Not exactly a problem with the phone, but everytime I try to make a purchase on blackberry world, it'll accept my saved credit card details and charge my card but doesn't download the app. I get an error message instead saying ' problem verifying your payment details error 1000 '


Any suggestions on how to get it working again and how to retrieve the amounts that were charged?

I don't find any KBs with the exact error you state (none with error code, as you wrote, "1000"), but here are some that perhaps discuss something similar enough to your situation:

  • KB24454 "There is a problem with your credit card authorization. Please try again or visit blackberry.com/appworld/ support for more information. (Error Id: 10000)" appears when purchasing an application in BlackBerry World
  • KB19753 "Unable to authenticate user at this time" or "Problem encountered with PayPal authorization. (Error ID: 580036) or (Error ID: 569013)" appears when logging in to BlackBerry App World

There may be other KBs...you can search them to find more. There also are multiple existing threads on this site that discuss that exact error...your review of those might prove useful, and a search of this site, using the error message, error code, or symptom, should reveal all applicable existing threads to you.
