64-bit Java use

When you download the development enviroment for BlackBerry, it says you need the 32-bit JVM. Is this still the case, or is it a reminant on the site?

I ask because I am starting to encounter issues with some other programs (which is odd, considering it's a virtual machine) because the 32-bit JVM on a 64-bit system has issues that these programs are running into.

I really want to resolve some of these issues but don't want to mess up my development enviroment.

Re: 64-bit Java use

BlackBerry development tools require the 32 bit version of Java.  64 bit is not supported.

Re: 64-bit Java use

Can we expect 64-bit for either Java or QNX SDKs?

Re: 64-bit Java use

Thank's Mark for your reply. As shnuffy asked, is there plans for a 64bit-supporting version in the near future? Or is it not even in the plans? Or can you not comment on it?
