Re: .ALX file missing when istalling cod file

what is "its"? and what do you mean with "throw"?

you don't need an alx file, it only contains meta info used for the desktop software or BES.

Hi.. thanks for reply..

I've copied alx file and cod file and put on a folder.

I've tried to install cod file through blackberry desktop manager. and import to alx file . But unable to import that alx file. its throw error.

I've check the below url and create a new alx file as it mentioned the url. saved the notepad as .alx .

Replaced the old .alx file to new  .alx file.

Again i've tried import .alx file through blackberry desktop manager. It installed successfully.

http://features.en.softonic.com/make-alx-files-to-install-blackberry-cod-apps

Now my problem is resolved.

Now i've a question, why the .alx file which is get form eclipse project throws error ?

Re: .ALX file missing when istalling cod file

"its throw error" is not a very descriptive problem, maybe you can work on that if you have another issue.

the auto-generated alx files assume that the cods are in their respective subfolders. if you copy both into the same folder they won't work.
you can edit them with a text editor and check the contents, they are not very complex.
