ActiveAutoTextEditField and Phone filter

I have following code for a ActiveAutoTextEditField along with phone filter.

ActiveAutoTextEditField befPhoneVal = new ActiveAutoTextEditField("","",20,BasicEditField.FILTER_PHONE);

There is an issue with this that the first key press is always shown as alphabet and all next typing are properly shown as number.

Please let me how should I add phone filter to ActiveAutoTextEditField field.

I have tried setting PhoneTextFilter but result is same.

Phone number filter allows to have letters in the phone number sequence.

Letters control some aspects like: "wait for tone", etc.

If you wish to allow only numbers in the field use numeric filter.

Thanks for the reply.

I have used the following format to solve my problem.

PhoneTextFilter(PhoneTextFilter.ACCEPT_CONTROL|PhoneTextFilter.ACCEPT_FORMATTING|PhoneTextFilter.ACCEPT_EXTENSION);

Re: ActiveAutoTextEditField and Phone filter

I'm trying to implement your solution. Can you please post the complete PhoneTextFilter code along with the ActiveAutoTextEditField part?

Thanks
