Add icon on the home screen

 I want to add an icon onto the home screen when some event is caught and some other occurs it disappears.How can I implement? Any suggestion will be appreciated!

Since homescreen icons are installed applications or their alternate entry points, the only way you could do this I think would be to have an app (or alt entry point for your existing application), that you then show or hide as required.  However, I do not know if you can show/hide an icon programatically with the API, I haven't looked.

this is not possible (without deinstalling the app). you can modify the icon, but not delete it.
