Any solution for the J2ME large file upload using HTTP connection?

Hello

I've been trying to create code in J2ME, using it with a WTK emulator and BB Curve 8250, to upload camera images to a server.

However it only works if I set the camera control display size to within about 50x50. For larger files, my server returns a 411 Length required error.. along with 'chunk forbidden' type of error.

I've looked all over the internet but not found a proper solution - is this likely to be a server limitation OR is there some resolution in the java code?

Appreciate any guidance

Regards

V

Re: Any solution for the J2ME large file upload using HTTP connection?

Hmm so while the emulator constantly results in the server 411 error, I am now able to upload much larger files (50 to 450 KB) using the Blackberry device. As it is now 3 AM my time, I will resume testing tomorrow. :-)

I found the best way to transfer (upload) very large files is using UDP. Implement a reliable mechanism on top of UDP. We were able to upload OTA or over WIFI files as large as a few GB.
