App icon disappears after low memory crash

When the device enters a low RAM state, the system closes my application. Upon returning to the BB home screen, the application icon not showing and instead it is replaced by the default box icon. I am not really worried that my application my have a memory leak, but I need to ensure that the icon is always displayed on the home screen.

Any thoughts? I tried implementing LowMemoryListener so I could exit the program gracefully when memory is low, however it is never called before the operating system closes my application.

Thanks,

Scott

Re: App icon disappears after low memory crash

It appears low RAM is not the issue, but low flash... I am investigating further.

Try profiling our application.  Search the forum for help in running the profiler, it is not trivial to do.
