App that uses the phone and call forwarding - incoming calls not forwarded with encryption enabled

[ Edited ]

We are struggling with a strange problem with our app that uses the phone api. Incoming calls must be forwarded to to a DDI but we have found that when encryption is enabled (not including contacts and media card) the call forwarding does not work. I found this KB which mentions DT 758410:

KB28150 http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB28150

Custom alerts for contacts do not function when Content Protection (encryption) is enabled

Edit - to be clear the app makes the phone busy so it forces the phone to use the forwarding when busy.

Is this related? If so, what is the status of the devtask? If not what can we do?

Can you elaborate on what is not working?  Is the PhoneListener not firing when encryption is enabled?  Or is some error or exception thrown in your application?  If so what is it and what line is throwing it?
