Application not showing up in downloads folder

[ Edited ]

I am using the latest Eclipse plugin with JDE 4.7 but when I debug my application, the application does not show up in the downloads folder on the simulator.

I have looked in the simulator folder and my .cod file etc are all in there.

Any idea about why that might be or tips for debugging this?

Thanks!

Re: Application not showing up in downloads folder

This probably means that the COD has an error.

Possibly compiled on incorrect OS level?

Re: Application not showing up in downloads folder

Perhaps you are loading the wrong simulator. Can you please post your build script?

Re: Application not showing up in downloads folder

Thanks for the suggestions everyone but I think I figured it out.

When you create a new blackberry project from source that already has a blackberry_app_descriptor file, if that file specifies the project to be a blackberry "library" rather than an application, the simulator will forever think that it is a library even if you change the value in the app descriptor and change the name of the app etc!
