I'm developing a messenger application for Blackberry smartphones. Part of this application is VoIP connection between two users. We are using AMR-NB codec and RTP transport protocol to transfer voice data over IP network.
During testing we've found audio latency about 4-5 seconds on BB OS6 version devices. It is working fine on OS 5 and OS 7. During search inside Blackberry Development forums I've found that root cause of the issue is buffer which have been introduced in OS 6. OS 5 has no such buffer and real time audio playing with small latency about 500 ms.
Also there is a new API to set buffer size to zero is available in OS 7. So we small latency in 7 version too.
At the current moment I've not found a way to reduce the latency. Has any one resolved it ? Please help me with solution.

Thanks for your answer, Aviator168. But I'm a new user here. Could you explain me how can I get information from DevCon ? As I understand this is the Blackberry Developers Conference. Am I right ?
